Data speaks the truth: only 27% of women in the UK would consider a career in tech, compared to 62% of men.

This is one of the key results from the PwC Women in Tech study, which demonstrated that there is a societal problem at the root of the gender inequality problem in the tech industry: young girls do not think about careers in the tech sector. This is why the #TechSheCanCharter initiative was created.

What is it? It’s the commitment of UK organisations to increase the number of women in tech. To do so, it aims to tackle the root cause of the problem by inspiring and educating young girls and women to get into tech careers.
