This week we had the chance to interview Seb Butt, an inspiring advocate of organisations in all industries making systemic changes which can lead to opportunities for everyone. He explains how to bring in diversity, just like he did at Diversity VC did with the launch of the Future VC programme.

“With Future VC we wanted to make a radical, first-of-its-kind, intervention in the VC industry to access diverse talent.”

In this podcast episode, Seb explains why the VC industry is still lagging behind others across the board when it comes to diversity and inclusion and how, with more information about VC as a career path, many individuals from backgrounds less represented in the industry would be interested in applying. Firms must understand that talent is evenly distributed and, so far, opportunity has not been.
